Prof. Hanan Alexander, Dean of the Faculty of Education, is completing the coordination of a three year project on expanding access to higher education in Israel and Georgia for three target groups: students with disabilities, students from minorities, and students who are women. Entitled DARE (Developing program for Access of Disadvantaged groups of People and Regions to higher Education), the project was an Erasmus+ key action 2 project funded by the European Union's Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). 13 partners participated in the project hailing from Israel, Georgia, Spain, England, Lithuania, Romania, and the Czech Republic. At the University of Haifa, 8 novel programs were advanced that increased our commitment to to finding new ways to promote accessibility.
